Muaz bin Jabal reported,

A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, what do you say about a man who met a woman he did not know, and there is nothing a man does with his wife that he did not do with her, except that he did not have intercourse with her?"Then Allah revealed this verse, "Establish prayer at the two ends of the day and in the early part of the night. Indeed, good deeds wipe away bad deeds" [Hud 11:114].The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Perform ablution, then pray."Muaz said, "I asked, 'Messenger of Allah, is this for him in particular, or for the believers in general?'"He replied, "Rather, it is for the believers in general."

عن معاذ بن جبل قال

أتى رسول الله ﷺ رجل فقال يا رسول الله ما تقول في رجل لقي امرأة لا يعرفها فليس يأتي الرجل من امرأته شيئا إلا قد أتاه منها غير أنه لم يجامعها قال فأنزل الله عز وجل هذه الآية {أقم الصلاة طرفي النهار وزلفا من الليل إن الحسنات يذهبن السيئات} الآية قال فقال له النبي ﷺ توضأ ثم صل قال معاذ فقلت يا رسول الله أله خاصة أم للمؤمنين عامة قال بل للمؤمنين عامة
