The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever is given authority over any of the people's affairs and then shuts himself off from the weak and the needy, Allah will shut Himself off from him on the Day of Resurrection."
حدثنا عبد الله حدثني أبي حدثنا حسين بن محمد حدثنا شريك عن أبي حصين عن الوالبي صديق لمعاذ بن جبل
قال رسول الله ﷺ من ولي من أمر الناس شيئا فاحتجب عن أولي الضعفة والحاجة احتجب الله عنه يوم القيامة
