Muaz bin Jabal reported,

I was riding behind the Prophet ﷺ on a red camel when he said, "Muaz."I replied, "At your service."He asked, "Do you know what Allah's right is over His servants?"I said, "Allah and His Messenger know best."He repeated this three times, and each time I gave the same answer. Then he said, "His right is that they worship Him and not associate anything with Him."Then he asked, "Do you know what the servants' right is over Allah if they do that?"I said, "Allah and His Messenger know best."He repeated this three times, and each time I gave the same answer. Then he said, "Their right over Him, if they do that, is that He forgive them and admit them into Paradise."

عن معاذ بن جبل قال

كنت ردف النبي ﷺ على جمل أحمر فقال يا معاذ قلت لبيك قال هل تدري ما حق الله على العباد قال فقلت الله ورسوله أعلم قالها ثلاثا فقلت ذلك ثلاثا ثم قال حقه عز وجل أن يعبدوه ولا يشركوا به شيئا ثم قال هل تدري ما حق العباد على الله إذا فعلوا ذلك فقلت الله ورسوله أعلم قالها ثلاثا وقلت ذلك ثلاثا فقال حقهم عليه إذا هم فعلوا ذلك أن يغفر لهم وأن يدخلهم الجنة
