The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me ahead with the baggage from Muzdalifah during the night.
حدثنا يونس حدثنا حماد يعني ابن زيد عن أيوب عن عكرمة
بعثني رسول الله ﷺ في الثقل من جمع بليل
Its isnad is sahih. Muslim narrated it, 1:366, as did Tirmidhi, 2:103, who said, a sahih hadith. See 1939. Al-thaql, with the tha and qaf both vocalized with fatha, means the traveler's baggage.
