During the expedition of Tabuk, the Prophet ﷺ would not set out until the heat had cooled, and he would combine Zuhr with Asr and Maghrib with Isha.
حدثنا حماد بن خالد حدثنا هشام بن سعد عن أبي الزبير عن أبي الطفيل
كان النبي ﷺ في غزوة تبوك لا يروح حتى يبرد حتى يجمع بين الظهر والعصر والمغرب والعشاء
Its isnad is sahih, and Abu Tufayl was a companion. The hadith has already appeared at 21896, and Abu Dawud 2/8 no. 1220 and Tirmidhi 2/138 no. 553 both narrated it, both of them from Muaz.
