The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Muaz, do you know what Allah's right is upon His servants?"Muaz replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best."He said, "That they worship Him and associate nothing with Him."Then he asked, "Do you know what their right upon Him is when they do that?"Muaz replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best."He said, "That He will not punish them."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن أبي حصين والأشعث بن سليم أنهما سمعا الأسود بن هلال يحدث
قال رسول الله ﷺ يا معاذ أتدري ما حق الله على العباد فقال الله ورسوله أعلم قال يعبدونه ولا يشركون به شيئا قال أتدري ما حقهم عليه إذا فعلوا ذلك قال الله ورسوله أعلم قال أن لا يعذبهم
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Husayn is Asadi, mentioned previously, and he is Uthman bin Aasim. The hadith has already appeared at 21893.
