The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled regarding the child of the woman subjected to liaan that he is not to be attributed to a father, and whoever accuses her or accuses her child shall receive the prescribed lashes. He also ruled that she is entitled to neither maintenance nor lodging, since they separate without divorce and without him having died.

قضى رسول الله ﷺ في ابن الملاعنة أن لا يدعى لأب ومن رماها أو رمى ولدها فإنه يجلد الحد وقضى أن لا قوت لها ولا سكنى من أجل أنهما يتفرقان من غير طلاق ولا متوفى عنها
