He heard the Prophet ﷺ mention charity and say, "Let none of you bring a sheep that bleats." The narrator explained that "rughaa" means it cries out.
حدثنا عبد الله حدثنا أبو محمد مولى بني هاشم يحيى بن عبد ربه حدثنا شعبة عن سماك قال سمعت
أنه سمع النبي ﷺ وذكر الصدقة فقال لا يجيئن أحدكم بشاة له رغاء قال يقول يصيح
Its isnad is daif, due to the obscurity of Abu Muhammad, the freedman of Banu Hashim, who is named here and in its second version as Yahya bin Abd Rabbih. The hadith is sahih and has already appeared at 21867, and it is among the additions in the manuscript of Atraf.
