Safina Abu Abdul-Rahman reported,

A man was hosted by Ali bin Abu Talib , who prepared food for him. Fatimah said, "What if we invited the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?" The narrator then mentioned something similar to the hadith of Abu Kamil.So they invited him, and he came. He placed his hand on the two doorposts, but when he saw a patterned curtain in a corner of the house, he turned back.Fatimah said to Ali, "Catch up with him and ask, 'Why did you turn back, Messenger of Allah?'"He replied, "It is not for me to enter a decorated house."

أن رجلا أضافه علي بن أبي طالب رضي الله عنه فصنع له طعاما فقالت فاطمة لو دعونا رسول الله ﷺ فذكر نحو حديث أبي كامل فدعوه فجاء فوضع يده على عضادتي الباب فرأى قراما في ناحية البيت فرجع فقالت فاطمة لعلي الحقه فقل له لم رجعت يا رسول الله فقال إنه ليس لي أن أدخل بيتا مزوقا
