Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, asked me what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in the prayer of the two Eids. Siraj's version says, what did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recite in the festival prayer.I replied, "He recited 'The Hour has drawn near and the moon has split' [Qamar 54:1] and 'Qaf. By the glorious Quran' [Qaf 50:1]."
