Usama bin Zayd reported,

He and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the House, and the Prophet ordered Bilal to close the door. The House at that time rested on six pillars. He walked forward until he reached the two pillars nearest the door of the Kaabah, then sat down, praised Allah and extolled Him, made supplication, and sought His forgiveness.Then he stood and walked to the rear wall of the Kaabah, facing it, and pressed his face and body against the Kaabah. He praised Allah and extolled Him, made supplication, and sought His forgiveness.Then he moved on until he came to each corner of the House, facing it with takbir, tahlil, tasbih, praise of Allah , seeking forgiveness, and supplication.Then he went out and prayed two rakahs outside the House, facing the front of the Kaabah. When he finished, he said, "This is the qiblah, this is the qiblah."

عن أسامة بن زيد

أنه دخل هو ورسول الله ﷺ البيت فأمر بلالا فأجاف الباب والبيت إذ ذاك على ستة أعمدة فمضى حتى أتى الأسطوانتين اللتين تليان الباب باب الكعبة فجلس فحمد الله وأثنى عليه وسأله واستغفره ثم قام حتى أتى ما استقبل من دبر الكعبة فوضع وجهه وجسده على الكعبة فحمد الله وأثنى عليه وسأله واستغفره ثم انصرف حتى أتى كل ركن من أركان البيت فاستقبله بالتكبير والتهليل والتسبيح والثناء على الله عز وجل والاستغفار والمسألة ثم خرج فصلى ركعتين خارجا من البيت مستقبل وجه الكعبة ثم انصرف فقال هذه القبلة هذه القبلة
