The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever visits a sick person whose appointed time has not yet come and says seven times, 'I ask Allah the Magnificent, Lord of the noble Throne, to heal him,' he will be cured."
حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم حدثنا شعبة عن أبي خالد يزيد عن المنهال بن عمرو عن سعيد بن جبير
عن النبي ﷺ قال من أتى مريضا لم يحضر أجله فقال سبع مرات أسأل الله العظيم رب العرش الكريم أن يشفيه إلا عوفي
Its isnad is sahih. Hashim bin Qasim is Abu Nadr al-Hafiz. In H it appears as "Hashim bin Abu Qasim," which is an error, and we have corrected it from K. Abu Khalid Yazid is al-Dalani al-Wasiti, mentioned previously at 2137. Here in H it appears as "from Khalid bin Yazid," which is an error, and it was likewise so in K, but its copyist corrected it in the margin. The correct form is what we have established. The hadith is a repetition of 2137 and 2138.
