He used to travel out to his property in Wadi al-Qura, where he would fast on Mondays and Thursdays. I said to him, "Why do you fast while traveling, when you have grown old and frail?"He replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to fast on Mondays and Thursdays, so I asked, 'Messenger of Allah, you fast on Mondays and Thursdays?' He said, 'Deeds are presented on Mondays and Thursdays.'"

كان يخرج إلى ماله بوادي القرى فيصوم الاثنين والخميس فقلت له لم تصوم في السفر وقد كبرت ورققت فقال إن رسول الله ﷺ كان يصوم الاثنين والخميس فقلت يا رسول الله إنك تصوم الاثنين والخميس فقال إن الأعمال تعرض يوم الاثنين والخميس
Its chain of transmission is daif, due to the anonymity of the freed slave of Qudama. The hadith was mentioned previously at 21678.
