The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "This plague is a punishment with which Allah destroyed the nations before you. Some of it still remains on the earth, appearing at times and disappearing at others. If it breaks out in a land while you are there, do not leave that land to flee from it, and if you hear that it has struck a land, do not enter it."

قال رسول الله ﷺ إن هذا الوباء رجز أهلك الله به الأمم قبلكم وقد بقي منه في الأرض شيء يجيء أحيانا ويذهب أحيانا فإذا وقع بأرض فلا تخرجوا منها وإذا سمعتم به في أرض فلا تأتوها
