The Messenger of Allah ﷺ granted a concession regarding the ariyyah, allowing it to be taken in exchange for an equivalent estimated amount of dried dates, so that its owners could eat the fruit fresh.
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون أنا يحيى بن سعيد عن نافع بن عمر قال أخبرني
أن رسول الله ﷺ رخص في العرية أن تؤخذ بمثل خرصها تمرا يأكلها أهلها رطبا
