The Messenger of Allah ﷺ permitted the owner of an ariyyah to sell it based on its estimated yield.
حدثنا عبد الرحمن حدثنا مالك عن نافع عن ابن عمر
أن رسول الله ﷺ رخص لصاحب العرية أن يبيعها بخرصها
Its isnad is sahih. It came shortly before at 21475, and this wording is found in Bukhari 3/99, in the Book of Sales, chapter on muzabana, and Muslim 3/1169, no. 1539, in the Book of Sales, chapter on the prohibition of selling fresh dates for dried dates.
