The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Abu Dharr, do not take charge of an orphan's property, and do not accept authority over even two people."
حدثنا أبو عبد الرحمن حدثنا سعيد بن أبي أيوب حدثني عبيد الله بن أبي جعفر عن سالم بن أبي سالم الجيشاني عن أبيه
قال رسول الله ﷺ يا أبا ذر لا تولين مال يتيم ولا تأمرن على اثنين
Its isnad is sahih. Ubaydullah bin Abu Jafar Faqih Misri is trustworthy, his hadith accepted by the group. Salim bin Abu Salim Jayshani is trustworthy, his hadith found in Muslim. And Abu Sufyan bin Hani, Abu Salim Misri, is among the senior mukhadram followers, and it is said he had companionship with the Prophet.The hadith was narrated by Muslim, 32/1458, no. 1826, in the Book of Leadership, on the dislike of seeking leadership. And Abu Dawud, 3/114, no. 2868, and Nasai, 6/255, no. 3667, both in the Book of Bequests.
