Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was cupped, he was cupped on the two veins at the sides of the neck. He called for a young slave belonging to Banu Bayadah, who cupped him, and he gave the cupper his wages, a mudd and a half. He also spoke to the boy's masters, and they reduced half a mudd from what he owed, since two mudds had been due from him.
