The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever bathes or purifies himself and does so thoroughly, puts on his finest clothes, applies whatever perfume Allah has decreed for him or some of his family's scented oil, then comes to the Friday prayer without engaging in idle talk and without separating two people, will be forgiven for what is between this Friday and the next."
حدثنا يحيى عن ابن عجلان حدثني سعد عن أبيه عن عبد الله بن وديعة
عن النبي ﷺ قال من اغتسل أو تطهر فأحسن الطهور ولبس من أحسن ثيابه ومس ما كتب الله له من طيب أو دهن أهله ثم أتى الجمعة فلم يلغ ولم يفرق بين اثنين غفر له ما بينه وبين الجمعة الأخرى
