It was said, "Messenger of Allah, the people of wealth have taken away the rewards. They pray as we pray, they fast as we fast, and they give in charity from their surplus wealth."He replied, "Has not Allah given you things by which you can give charity? Every glorification of Allah is a charity, every declaration of His greatness is a charity, every declaration of His oneness is a charity, every praise of Him is a charity, enjoining what is right is a charity, forbidding what is wrong is a charity, and in the intimate relation of one of you with his wife there is a charity."They asked, "Messenger of Allah, when one of us fulfills his desire, does he receive a reward for it?"He answered, "Tell me, if he were to satisfy it unlawfully, would he not bear a sin for it?"They said, "Yes."He said, "In the same way, when he satisfies it lawfully, he earns a reward."
حدثنا وهب بن جرير حدثنا مهدي بن ميمون عن واصل عن يحيى بن عقيل عن يحيى بن يعمر عن أبي الأسود الديلي
قيل يا رسول الله ذهب أهل الدثور بالأجور يصلون كما نصلي ويصومون كما نصوم ويتصدقون بفضول أموالهم فقال أوليس قد جعل الله لكم ما تصدقون إنه بكل تسبيحة صدقة وبكل تكبيرة صدقة وبكل تهليلة صدقة وبكل تحميدة صدقة وأمر بالمعروف صدقة ونهي عن المنكر صدقة وفي بضع أحدكم صدقة قالوا يا رسول الله أيأتي أحدنا شهوته ويكون له فيها أجر فقال أرأيتم لو وضعها في الحرام أليس كان يكون عليه وزر أو الوزر قالوا بلى قال فكذلك إذا وضعها في الحلال يكون له الأجر
