He mentioned the hadith and said, "Better in the sight of Allah than the earth's fill of the like of this and that." Muawiya bin Amr reported it from Zayd.

Its chain of transmission is sahih through its first route. Its other routes are also sahih, but they contain errors, and Imam Ahmad points out the narrators' errors in them. Abu Muawiya here is al-Darir, not Muawiya as appears in some books.
