The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no Muslim servant who visits a sick person whose appointed time has not yet come and says seven times, 'I ask Allah the Magnificent, Lord of the magnificent Throne, to cure you,' except that he will be cured."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن يزيد أبي خالد قال سمعت المنهال بن عمرو يحدث عن سعيد بن جبير
عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال ما من عبد مسلم يعود مريضا لم يحضر أجله فيقول سبع مرات أسأل الله العظيم رب العرش العظيم أن يشفيك إلا عوفي
Its isnad is sahih. Yazid Abu Khalid is al-Dalani al-Wasiti, and he is trustworthy. Some have declared him daif without justification. Ibn Main and Nasai said, "There is no harm in him." Abu Hatim said, "Truthful and trustworthy." Hakim said that the early scholars testified to his truthfulness and precision, and Shubah's narration from him is also a form of validation for him. Bukhari included his biography in Al-Kabir 4/2/327-328. In ح: "Zayd bin Khalid" is an error.Regarding the hadith, Munziri said in Targhib wal-Tarhib 4:164, "Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi (who graded it hasan), Nasai, and Ibn Hibban in his Sahih, and Hakim narrated it," and he said, "Sahih according to the standard of Bukhari."
