Uqba bin Amir asked the Prophet ﷺ about his sister, who had vowed to walk to the House, complaining to him of her weakness. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah has no need of your sister's vow. Let her ride and offer a camel as sacrifice."
حدثنا بهز أخبرنا همام حدثنا قتادة عن عكرمة
أن عقبة بن عامر سأل النبي ﷺ فقال إن أخته نذرت أن تمشي إلى البيت وشكا إليه ضعفها فقال النبي ﷺ إن الله غني عن نذر أختك فلتركب ولتهد بدنة
Its chain of transmission is sahih. It appears in Zawaid 4:188-189, where it is stated, "Ahmad narrated it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih." It is also mentioned in Muntaqa, 4915.
