The Prophet ﷺ said, "Islam is gentle and tractable. Only one who is himself gentle and tractable can ride it."

Its chain of transmission is daif because of Abu Khalaf the blind, the servant of Anas, and because of Muaz bin Rifa Sulami. Haythami likewise declared it daif in 1/72. The hadith is among the additions in our original manuscripts, and he indicated in al-Atraf that it is from Ahmad.
