I came to Madinah and met Ubayy bin Kaab. I said to him, "Abu al-Mundhir, narrate to me the most amazing hadith you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."He said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in the morning prayer, then turned his face toward us and asked, 'Was so-and-so present?'"Then he mentioned the hadith.
حدثنا أبو كامل مظفر بن مدرك حدثنا زهير حدثنا أبو إسحاق
قدمت المدينة فلقيت أبي بن كعب فقلت أبا المنذر حدثني أعجب حديث سمعته من رسول الله ﷺ فقال صلى بنا أو لنا رسول الله ﷺ صلاة الغداة ثم أقبل علينا بوجهه فقال شاهد فلان فذكر الحديث
