Regarding this verse, "And We will surely let them taste the nearer punishment short of the greater punishment" [Sajdah 32:21], he said, "The calamities and the smoke have already passed, and what remains are the seizure and the lasting punishment."

The isnad is sahih. Anaza is Ibn Abdul-Rahman, and he is trustworthy. His hadith is found in Muslim, as mentioned before. Likewise Hasan Arni, who is Ibn Abdullah, his hadith is found in Muslim, and he is trustworthy. Exactly the same applies to Yahya bin Jazzar Arni, except that they criticized him for his Shia leanings.The hadith was narrated by Tabari in his Tafsir 9/68, regarding the sajdah, and Hakim graded it sahih in 4/428, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
