Ubayy bin Kaab reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, "Ubayy, I have been commanded to recite to you such-and-such surah."I said, "Messenger of Allah, was I mentioned there by name?"He replied, "Yes."So I said to him, "Abu al-Mundhir, you rejoiced at that?"He said, "And why should I not rejoice, when Allah says, 'Say, in the bounty of Allah and in His mercy, in that let them rejoice. It is better than what they accumulate' [Yunus 10:58]?"Muammal said, I asked Sufyan, "Is this recitation part of the hadith?"He said, "Yes."

حدثنا مؤمل حدثنا سفيان حدثنا أسلم المنقري عن عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن بن أبزي عن أبيه

عن أبي بن كعب قال

قال لي رسول الله ﷺ يا أبي أمرت أن أقرأ عليك سورة كذا وكذا قال قلت يا رسول الله وقد ذكرت هناك قال نعم فقلت له يا أبا المنذر ففرحت بذلك قال وما يمنعني والله تبارك وتعالى يقول قل بفضل الله وبرحمته فبذلك فلتفرحوا هو خير مما يجمعون قال مؤمل قلت لسفيان هذه القراءة في الحديث قال نعم
