Ubayy used to relate that the Prophet ﷺ said, "The roof of my house was opened while I was in Mecca, and Jibreel descended. He split open my chest, then washed it with water from Zamzam. Then he brought a golden basin filled with wisdom and faith, poured its contents into my chest, and closed it up."

كان أبي يحدث أن النبي ﷺ قال فرج سقف بيتي وأنا بمكة فنزل جبريل ففرج صدري ثم غسله من ماء زمزم ثم جاء بطست من ذهب مملوء حكمة وإيمانا فأفرغها في صدري ثم أطبقه
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Damra is Anas bin Iyad bin Damra, also called Abu Hamza and Abu Jamra. He is trustworthy, and his hadith is accepted by the collective scholars. The hadith was narrated by Bukhari, 1/97, in the Book of Prayer, chapter on how prayer was made obligatory, and 2/191, in the Book of Hajj, chapter on what has been mentioned regarding Zamzam, and by Muslim, 1/148, number 163, in the Book of Faith, chapter on the Night Journey.
