Its isnad is sahih. Hajjaj bin Yusuf is Thaqafi, known as Ibn Shair, and he is trustworthy, one of the hadith memorizers, and his hadith is included by Muslim. Haythami said, 5/98, its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, meaning this isnad, not the one before it.
