We migrated with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and some of us died without having tasted any of our reward in this world. Among them was Musab bin Umayr, who left behind nothing but a striped woolen cloak. When we covered his head with it, his feet were exposed, and when we covered his feet, his head was exposed. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to us, "Cover his head," and we placed idhkhir grass over his feet.And among us were those whose fruits had ripened, and they were harvesting them.
حدثنا عبد الله بن إدريس قال وسمعت الأعمش يروي عن شقيق
هاجرنا مع رسول الله ﷺ فمنا من مات ولم يأكل من أجره شيئا منهم مصعب بن عمير لم يترك إلا نمرة إذا غطوا بها رأسه بدت رجلاه وإذا غطينا رجليه بدا رأسه فقال لنا رسول الله ﷺ غطوا رأسه وجعلنا على رجليه إذخرا قال ومنا من أينع الثمار فهو يهدبها
