We complained to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the burning heat of the ground, but he did not relieve our complaint. Shuba said, this refers to the Dhuhr prayer.
حدثنا سليمان بن داود أخبرنا شعبة عن أبي إسحاق قال سمعت سعيد بن وهب يقول سمعت
شكونا إلى رسول الله ﷺ الرمضاء فلم يشكنا قال شعبة يعني في الظهر
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Ishaq is Subayi Hamdani, and Saeed bin Wahb is trustworthy, one of the senior mukhadramin among the Followers. The hadith was narrated by Muslim, 1/433, no. 619, in the Book of Mosques, on the recommendation of praying Dhuhr early, and by Nasai, 1/247, in the Book of Prayer Times, and Ibn Majah, 1/222, no. 675, and Humaydi, 1/83, no. 352, and Bayhaqi, 1/438.
