One of the wives of the Prophet ﷺ performed the ritual bath from major impurity, and the Prophet ﷺ then made ablution from the water she had left over. When she mentioned this to him, he said, "Water is not made impure by anything."
حدثنا علي بن إسحاق حدثنا عبد الله أخبرنا سفيان عن سماك عن عكرمة
أن بعض أزواج النبي ﷺ اغتسلت من الجنابة فتوضأ النبي ﷺ بفضله فذكرت ذلك له فقال إن الماء لا ينجسه شيء
