When the Prophet ﷺ departed from Arafah, some people rushed ahead. He said, "Go forward steadily and stay close together. Righteousness is not in driving horses and camels hard."The narrator said, "I did not see a single mount lifting its hooves to gallop until we reached Jam."

أن النبي ﷺ لما أفاض من عرفة فسارع قوم فقال امتدوا وسدوا ليس البر بإيضاع الخيل ولا الركاب قال فما رأيت رافعة يدها تعدو حتى أتينا جمعا
Its isnad is sahih. Masudi is Abdul-Rahman bin Abdullah bin Utbah. It was already mentioned at 744 that Wakee heard from him before his condition changed."They stretched out and blocked" appears thus in H, while in K it is "they stretched out" only, and that is the correct version.
