Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us delivering an admonition and said, "You will be gathered before Allah the Exalted barefoot, naked, and uncircumcised. 'As We began the first creation, We will repeat it. That is a promise binding upon Us. Indeed, We will do it' [Anbiya 21:104]. The first of creation to be clothed will be Ibrahim, the intimate friend of the Most Merciful . Then some people from among you will be seized and taken to the left."Ibn Jafar said, "Some men from my community will be brought forward and taken to the left, and I will say, 'My Lord, my companions!' It will be said to me, 'You do not know what they introduced after you. They never ceased turning back on their heels from the moment you parted from them.' So I will say as the righteous servant said, 'And I was a witness over them as long as I remained among them' [Maidah 5:117], to His words, 'Indeed, You are the Mighty, the Wise' [Maidah 5:118]."

حدثنا وكيع وابن جعفر المعنى قالا حدثنا شعبة عن المغيرة بن النعمان عن سعيد بن جبير

عن ابن عباس قال

قام فينا رسول الله ﷺ بموعظة فقال إنكم محشورون إلى الله تعالى حفاة عراة غرلا {كما بدأنا أول خلق نعيده وعدا علينا إنا كنا فاعلين} فأول الخلائق يكسى إبراهيم خليل الرحمن عز وجل قال ثم يؤخذ بقوم منكم ذات الشمال قال ابن جعفر وإنه سيجاء برجال من أمتي فيؤخذ بهم ذات الشمال فأقول يا رب أصحابي قال فيقال لي إنك لا تدري ما أحدثوا بعدك لم يزالوا مرتدين على أعقابهم مذ فارقتهم فأقول كما قال العبد الصالح {وكنت عليهم شهيدا ما دمت فيهم} الآية إلى {إنك أنت العزيز الحكيم}
