I was sitting in a gathering where the Prophet ﷺ was present, and my father Samura was seated in front of me. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indecency and obscene speech have no place in Islam, and the best of people in Islam are those with the finest character."
Its isnad is hasan due to Imran bin Muslim bin Rabah, which is the correct form of his name, and due to Ali bin Amarah, for both are acceptable and there is no harm in them. Bukhari narrated from both of them in Adab. This hadith was narrated solely by Ahmad, and as for the second part, it has already appeared at 18368.
