He asked Jabir bin Samura how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to act after praying the dawn prayer. He replied, "He would remain seated in his place until the sun rose."

أنه سأل جابر بن سمرة كيف كان يصنع رسول الله ﷺ إذا صلى الصبح قال كان يقعد في مقعده حتى تطلع الشمس
Its isnad is sahih, and it is found in Muslim 1/463, no. 670, in the Book of Prayer, and in Nasai in the Book of Forgetfulness (Sahw) 3/80, and Bayhaqi 2/186.
