I was among those who pledged allegiance to the Prophet ﷺ. Among the conditions he took from us was that we would not wail in mourning, nor speak privately with any man other than a Muharram relative.
حدثنا غسان بن الربيع حدثنا أبو زيد ثابت بن يزيد عن هشام عن حفصة
كنت فيمن بايع النبي ﷺ فكان فيما أخذ علينا أن لا ننوح ولا نحدث من الرجال إلا محرما
