The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and Yazid reported from the Prophet ﷺ, "A woman should not mourn for more than three days except for a husband, for whom she mourns four months and ten days. She should not wear dyed clothing, except for asb fabric. She should not apply kohl, nor touch perfume, except when she becomes pure," and Yazid said, "or during her purification. When she becomes pure from her menstruation, she may use a small amount of qust and azfar."
