Abdullah bin Sarjas reported,

I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and ate with him from his food. I said, "May Allah forgive you, Messenger of Allah." Then I asked, "Shall I seek forgiveness for you?"Shuba said, or perhaps it was a man who said this to him.He replied, "Yes, and for all of you," and he recited, "And ask forgiveness for your sin and for the believing men and believing women" [Muhammad 47:19].Then I looked at the upper part of his right shoulder, or his left shoulder. Shuba was the one who was uncertain. There it was, like a clenched fist with warts on it.

حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن عاصم الأحول قال سمعت

عبد الله بن سرجس قال

أتيت رسول الله ﷺ فأكلت معه من طعامه فقلت غفر الله لك يا رسول الله فقلت أستغفر لك قال شعبة أو قال له رجل قال نعم ولكم وقرأ {واستغفر لذنبك وللمؤمنين والمؤمنات} ثم نظرت إلى نغض كتفه الأيمن أو كتفه الأيسر شعبة الذي يشك فإذا هو كهيئة الجمع عليه الثآليل
