The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prescribed for sciatica that the fat tail of an Arabian ram, neither too large nor too small, be taken and melted down, then divided into three portions. One portion is to be drunk each day on an empty stomach.

نعت رسول الله ﷺ من عرق النسا أن تؤخذ ألية كبش عربي لا عظيمة ولا صغيرة فيذيبها فتجزأ ثلاثة أجزاء فيشرب على ريق النفس كل يوم جزءا
Its chain of transmission is daif because the narrator who transmitted from the companion is unknown, but this hadith, despite its weakness, has been tested and proven true in practice, and it is effective by the permission of Allah the Exalted, as physicians have themselves acknowledged. However, Muslim physicians have set certain conditions for it, the most important of which is that one must not lie still, but rather must engage in a great deal of movement.
