While we were standing with the Prophet ﷺ at Arafah, he said, "People, every household must offer a sacrifice each year, and an Atirah. Do you know what the Atirah is? It is what people call the Rajabiyyah."
حدثنا معاذ بن معاذ حدثنا ابن عون قال أنبأني أبو رملة عن مخنف بن سليم قال
ونحن وقوف مع النبي ﷺ بعرفة فقال يا أيها الناس إن على أهل كل بيت في كل عام أضحاة وعتيرة أتدرون ما العتيرة هي التي يسميها الناس الرجبية
Its isnad is daif, due to the obscurity of Abu Ramlah. They named him Amir but did not give his lineage, and they said about him, "unknown, his condition is not known." The hadith is sahih as in 17815, as we indicated.
