Bilal bin Yaqtar reported,

A man from among the companions of the Prophet ﷺ was appointed governor over Sijistan. Another companion of the Prophet ﷺ met him and said, "Do you remember when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ appointed a man over an army, and there was a fire that had been kindled before him? He said to one of his men, 'Get up and jump into it.' The man stood up to jump into it. When this reached the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said, 'Had he fallen into it, both of them would have entered the Fire. There is no obedience in disobedience to Allah .' I only wanted to remind you of this."Hammad also reported it with the wording, "Get up and jump into it," and the man refused, so he insisted upon him. Hammad also said, "There is no obedience in disobedience to Allah the Exalted." He said, "Yes."

أن رجلا من أصحاب النبي ﷺ استعمل على سجستان فلقيه رجل من أصحاب النبي ﷺ فقال تذكر رسول الله ﷺ حيث استعمل رجلا على جيش وعنده نار قد أججت فقال لرجل من أصحابه قم فانزها فقام فنزاها فبلغ ذلك رسول الله ﷺ فقال لو وقع فيها لدخلا النار إنه لا طاعة في معصية الله تبارك وتعالى وإنما أردت أن أذكرك هذا وقال حماد أيضا قم فانزها فأبى فعزم عليه وقد قال حماد أيضا لا طاعة في معصية الله تعالى قال نعم
