The Prophet ﷺ, whenever he recited "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High" [Ala 87:1], would say, "Glory be to my Lord, the Most High."
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Ishaq is Subayi. Ibn Kathir quoted this hadith in his tafsir, 9:177, from this very passage, and also attributed it to Abu Dawud. Suyuti, in Durr Manthur, 6:338, also attributed it to Ibn Mardawayh and Bayhaqi. Ibn Kathir related from Abu Dawud that he pointed to a narration by Shuba and others, who narrated it from Abu Ishaq, from Saeed, from Ibn Abbas, as a mawquf report, as if he meant to use that to fault this marfu narration. But this is no fault at all.
