Muhammad reported,

A man came to Imran bin Husayn while we were with him and said, "Hakam bin Amr al-Ghifari has been appointed governor over Khurasan."Imran wished to meet him, until one of the people said to him, "Shall we call him for you?"He replied, "No."Then Imran got up and met him among the people. Imran said, "You have been entrusted with a great matter from the affairs of the Muslims." Then he commanded him, forbade him, and admonished him. Then he said, "Do you remember the day when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'There is no obedience to any created being in disobedience to Allah '?"Hakam said, "Yes."Imran said, "Allah is the Greatest."

عن محمد قال

جاء رجل إلى عمران بن حصين ونحن عنده فقال استعمل الحكم بن عمرو الغفاري على خراسان فتمناه عمران حتى قال له رجل من القوم ألا ندعوه لك فقال له لا ثم قام عمران فلقيه بين الناس فقال عمران إنك قد وليت أمرا من أمر المسلمين عظيما ثم أمره ونهاه ووعظه ثم قال هل تذكر يوم قال رسول الله ﷺ لا طاعة لمخلوق في معصية الله تبارك وتعالى قال الحكم نعم قال عمران الله أكبر
