Hakam bin Amr al-Ghifari was appointed governor over Khurasan. Imran bin Husayn wished to meet him, so it was said to him, "Abu Nujayd, shall we summon him for you?"He said, "No."Then Imran bin Husayn got up and met him among the people, and said, "Do you remember the day the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'There is no obedience to any created being in disobedience to Allah'?"Hakam replied, "Yes."Imran said, "Allahu Akbar."
حدثنا سليمان بن حرب حدثنا حماد بن زيد عن أيوب
استعمل الحكم بن عمرو الغفاري على خراسان قال فتمناه عمران بن حصين حتى قيل له يا أبا نجيد ألا ندعوه لك قال لا فقام عمران بن حصين فلقيه بين الناس قال تذكر يوم قال رسول الله ﷺ لا طاعة لمخلوق في معصية الله قال نعم قال عمران الله أكبر
