We were fighting alongside Abdul-Rahman bin Samura at Kabul when the soldiers came upon spoils and seized them as plunder. Abdul-Rahman bin Samura ordered an announcer to summon the people, so he called out and the people gathered.Abdul-Rahman bin Samura said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Whoever seizes plunder is not one of us.' Return what you have taken."So they returned it, and he divided it among them equally.
