We went on a military expedition with Abdul-Rahman bin Samura to Kabul. The men captured some sheep and seized them as plunder. So Abdul-Rahman ordered a crier to announce, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Whoever seizes plunder is not one of us.' So return these sheep."They returned them, and he distributed them equally.

غزونا مع عبد الرحمن بن سمرة كابل فأصاب الناس غنما فانتهبوها فأمر عبد الرحمن مناديا ينادي إني سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول من انتهب نهبة فليس منا فردوا هذه الغنم فردوها فقسمها بالسوية
