Fudayl bin Zayd Raqashi reported,

Abdul-Samad, in his narration from Fudayl bin Zayd, who had campaigned with Umar on seven expeditions, said, "I asked Abdullah bin Mughafal al-Muzani, 'What kind of drink has been forbidden to us?'He replied, 'Wine.'I said, 'This is in the Quran.'He said, 'I will only inform you of what I heard from Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ,' or, 'from the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ.'"The narrator commented, "He either began with the title of messengership or began with the name."I said, "It is sufficient for me that I have heard enough."He said, "He forbade the hantam, which is the earthen jar, and he forbade the dubba, which is the gourd, and he forbade the muzaffat, which is anything smeared with pitch, whether a wineskin or other vessel, and he forbade the naqir."He said, "When I heard that, I bought a small leather skin, and there it is, hanging up, in which a beverage is steeped."

فضيل بن زيد الرقاشي قال

عبد الصمد في حديثه عن فضيل بن زيد وقد غزا مع عمر رضي الله عنه سبع غزوات قال سألت عبد الله بن مغفل المزني ما حرم علينا من الشراب قال الخمرة قال فقلت هذا في القرآن فقال لا أخبرك إلا ما سمعت محمدا رسول الله ﷺ أو رسول الله محمدا ﷺ قال إما أن يكون بدأ بالرسالة أو يكون بدأ بالاسم فقلت شرعي بأني اكتفيت قال فقال نهى عن الحنتم وهو الجر ونهى عن الدباء وهو القرع ونهى عن المزفت وهو ما لطخ بالقار من زق أو غيره ونهى عن النقير قال فلما سمعت ذاك اشتريت أفيقة فهي هو ذا معلقة ينبذ فيها
