The Prophet ﷺ forbade flicking pebbles and said, "It cannot be used to hunt game nor to wound an enemy, but it can put out an eye and break a tooth."Yazid said on one occasion, "It cannot be used to hunt game nor to wound an enemy."
حدثنا يزيد أخبرنا سعيد عن قتادة عن عقبة بن صهبان
عن النبي ﷺ أنه نهى عن الخذف وقال إنه لا يصاد به صيد ولا ينكأ به عدو ولكنها تفقأ العين وتكسر السن وقال يزيد مرة لا يصاد بها صيد ولا ينكأ بها عدو
