Some dinars were brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he began taking handful after handful, then looking to his right as though consulting someone, then giving them out.A black man with a shaved head, wearing two white garments and bearing the mark of prostration between his eyes, said, "You have not been fair in the distribution."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ became angry and said, "Who will be fair to you after me?"They said, "Messenger of Allah, shall we not kill him?"He said, "No."Then he said to his companions, "This man and his companions will pass through the religion as an arrow passes through its prey, holding on to nothing of Islam."
حدثنا عبد الصمد وعفان قالا حدثنا حماد بن سلمة قال عفان أخبرنا عطاء بن السائب عن بلال بن يقطر
أتي رسول الله ﷺ بدنانير فجعل يقبض قبضة قبضة ثم ينظر عن يمينه كأنه يؤامر أحدا ثم يعطي ورجل أسود مطموم عليه ثوبان أبيضان بين عينيه أثر السجود فقال ما عدلت في القسمة فغضب رسول الله ﷺ وقال من يعدل عليكم بعدي قالوا يا رسول الله ألا نقتله فقال لا ثم قال لأصحابه هذا وأصحابه يمرقون من الدين كما يمرق السهم من الرمية لا يتعلقون من الإسلام بشيء
